this week on the bachelorette

We all have our weaknesses, mine is reality television. In particular, the Bachelorette. I watched the last season of the Bachelor with Reid and we got sucked in. And so, when this Bachelorette turned out to be Deanna, who was rejected by the Bachelor--I had to watch.

Well, tonight she shocked me. She got rid of Jeremy Anderson, whom she had called perfect on many occasions. They've had a connection from the start, and I have to say I was disappointed that she would keep Jesse over Jeremy. I can't see her ending up with someone like Jesse, as I think most fans would agree. (Although I cannot predict whether she will pick Jason or Jesse).

Jeremy was kind, considerate, a gentleman, a leader, confident, compassionate, gentle, handsome, sweet, romantic, and serious about finding a life partner. He was ready to commit to someone, start a family, and take care of them forever.

While I am sad for Jeremy, I am happy he was on the show. I have to say that it made me happy to know that there are still good guys out there. Jeremy acted practically perfect on the show, and I like to think that gentlemen still exist outside the circle of my closest friends. I know so many people that are looking for love, commitment, a lifelong spouse--and it's reassuring to see someone that takes all of that seriously.

So, I just wanted to wish Jeremy, and so many others, the best of luck in finding a wonderful person who will love you always.
