The Rain Rain Rain Came Down Down Down

Well, we have been having thunderstorms. But the city looks so green. I mean, Providence always looks green--but today it seemed more vibrant, more intense.

I walk to work, since its only three blocks away. And today the weather was lovely: not too humid, not too warm, not too dark outside. So I decided to take little Maisie for a walk while we had the chance (rain clouds could be seen to the west). We were having a nice walk, she fell asleep, and I was enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Then CLAP. Thunder. So I started back for her house. I parked the stroller in the garage, picked up Maisie, and we got inside just before the sky broke open. Suddenly the Disney Chorus was singing in my head.

I really do love the rain.
